After a long holiday break, we were finally able to get back into the swing of things. Three new painting had arrived that day. Two of the paintings were reviewed and scheduled for conservation, Titled Souring Breakfast, and the second being Untitled. on Souring Breakfast, sporting scene In Northern ME. Done by S.W Steward in 1910, the overlaid paint was exposed using ultra violet light. A patch test was performed on the untitled portrait. Done by Alex Katz, the paint reacted sensitively to the first test, so another patch test was performed with a diluted solvent.
